Craft Lab A Family Workshop: Weaving Wonders

Warp, weft, and weave! Join artist Josh Cloud for a fun and accessible weaving workshop inspired by the exhibition, Diedrick Brackens: heaven is a muddy riverbed. Don’t forget to visit our galleries during this workshop and learn how Brackens uses cotton yarn to create woven tapestries that tell stories and connect to ancestral memories. Craft Lab is for all ages, and everyone is welcome!  

Advanced RSVP is required. However, this workshop has limited capacity, so we advise participants to arrive early to secure a spot in the workshop. Payment is due upon arrival.

Masks and proof of vaccination, or negative COVID-19 test results are required to participate in this program.

Effective November 4, 2021, in accordance with the most recent Los Angeles city mandates, Craft Contemporary will require that all visitors age 12 and older show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to visit. All visitors and program participants over the age of 18 must show photo ID alongside their proof of vaccination.
